Western Sydney's Local Youth Radio
We are Western Sydney’s No.1 Dance Music Station, playing the biggest hits and dance anthems 24/7 with the hottest line-up of Djs across the week and featuring local Australian Djs across the weekend.
our history
We started in 2010 at Pulse Radio and ran a dedicated dance music format for a few years untill 2014, when we shutdown due to the owner having other commitments at that time.
We relaunched the station as online only in 2017 as Starter FM (Starter Free Media), a fresh sounding name and a similar styled format that had so much success only a few years ago.
In late 2021 we were granted a TCBL (Temporary Community Broadcasting License) to broadcast a youth format to the Greater Hawkesbury and Western Sydney.
Due to much difficulties from other TCBL broadcasters in the area with ACMA, the licenses were revoked on March 17th 2022.
We continued from then to work with Hawkesbury Radio in a combined effet to provide local content to the Hawkesbury and Western Sydney.
Starter FM is fully licensed by APRA AMCOS.
